Purpose

These terms govern the use of the site asmapsy.org, published by ASMApsy — Actions for Mental Health in Africa (see the legal notice). Consulting the site implies acceptance of them.

Access to the site

Access is free and open; connection costs remain yours. The association endeavours to keep the site available without undertaking to do so: maintenance, a hosting failure or a network outage may interrupt it, giving rise to no entitlement to compensation.

Content of the site

The texts, photographs and documents published here present the work of the association, its partners and its projects. They are given for information and may be altered at any time.

Content concerning mental health is intended to inform and to raise awareness. It in no case constitutes medical advice, a diagnosis or a prescription, and does not replace seeing a health professional. If you are in psychological difficulty, turn to a doctor or to an emergency service.

Intellectual property

The whole site — structure, texts, code, visual identity — is protected by copyright. It belongs to the association, except for material belonging to third parties, reproduced with their agreement and credited in the legal notice.

You may consult, print and quote this content for your own use or to make the association known, provided you state the source and do not distort it. Any other reuse — commercial in particular — requires prior written authorisation.

Photographs taken during missions and events show people who have consented to their publication. Any reproduction outside this site is forbidden: the consent obtained covers this site alone.

Donations and support

Donations are collected through third-party platforms, which have their own terms and privacy policies. The association has access only to the information those platforms pass on, and never has sight of your bank details.

A donation once made is final; there is no right of withdrawal. A tax receipt, where issued, relates to the financial year in which the donation was received.

The sums received are applied to the association's work, according to the directions decided by its governing bodies. A use requested by the donor is honoured as far as possible, without any undertaking as to the result.

Contact form

The form is for writing to the association, and for nothing else: no unlawful or abusive content, no unsolicited advertising, no file intended to do harm. Access may be blocked to any address that abuses it.

The association answers serious messages within a reasonable time, without being obliged to. The form is neither an emergency service nor a helpline: no message is handled in real time.

Personal data

What is collected, why, how long it is kept and how to have it erased are described in the privacy policy.

This site sets no advertising cookie and uses no third-party tracker. Its audience measurement is internal, anonymous and cookie-free: that is why you are shown no consent banner.

Links to other sites

The site links to partners, donation platforms and outside resources. The association has no control over their content and is not answerable for it.

Liability

The association takes care over the accuracy of what is published, without guaranteeing that any content is free of error or up to date at the moment you read it. It cannot be held liable for indirect damage arising from access to the site or from its unavailability, nor for the infection of your equipment by malicious software.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be altered at any time. The version that applies is the one published on this page at the time of your visit; the date it was last updated appears at the foot.

Applicable law

These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts.
